The first salvo from Bill against what he likes to call the "forces of darkness" was directed against destroyer of civilizations Crate & Barrel, who, in late November 2006, he said was ordering their people not to say, 'Merry Christmas,' and that the stores "will fire" employees who do so. He also said ordering employees not to say 'Merry Christmas' is

the worst kind of fascism you could possibly have.

With one of their points in the debate over SCHIP, conservative pundits and politicians have shown the way to the future for health care in the U.S. No, I don't mean stalking and trying to ruin people who take advantage of popular government programs in order to save the lives of their children.

I'm talking about how the conservatives fault the Frosts and other families like them for not making sure they have adequate insurance coverage. I think the statement is correct, but only after removing the large dose of fraudulence that the today's right manages to insert into everything they do.

The majority of jobs I have seen available in the area where I live do not carry insurance coverage. I do not think my area in unique in this respect. And therein resides the fraud that the conservatives are trying to hide under a blanket.

Ten generations ago, a number of men and women chose to put their lives at risk for an idea. They risked a hanging because they believed that their course and laws should not be set by one man. They believed the risk was worth it, not just for their benefit, should they succeed, but also for their descendants.

I want out of this farce of a presidency. I thought this was on open country for me to impose my views. Instead, it is little more than the west wing of the Democratic propoganda machine. Now that I want out, a fair minded and balanced country would let me delete my presidency and go. Instead, America will give me no such option. Like some sort of cult, I was welcomed into the White House freely but am now being barred from leaving. I do not want to simply leave and let my legacy remain here in an administration I am disgusted by and want no further part in.
